The Carpenter's Club If you look up “FOUNDATION” in your dictionary, you will see it defined as “the base, support, or groundwork”. As a member of the Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity’s Carpenter’s Club, you will become the “foundation” of our mission. Secondly, your support helps lay the groundwork for our homes by supplying the funds necessary to build the physical foundation of each house. To obtain your membership into the Carpenter’s Club, we are asking you to pledge a minimum of $25.00 for each of the 10 homes we plan to complete between now and the end of June 2008. We will send you a pledge reminder before the construction of each new home. Along with the pledge reminder, you will receive information about the homeowner family and later, an invitation to the dedication ceremony. You can become a Master Carpenter Member by pledging over $25.00 for each home we complete. With this membership level, you will be issued a membership card that entitles you to a 10% discount on any one day each month at the Habitat ReStore for an entire year. If 170 people in Rutherford County pledged $25 per house, we could fund the foundations for all the houses we construct next year. You can help form the foundation of Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity. Your financial support will enable Habitat to provide the foundations for our homes and the families, so that they have simple, decent and affordable housing. Thank you for your dedication to the ministry of Habitat and your belief that all of God’s children deserve a decent home in which to live. To start your membership with the Carpenter’s Club, click here to print off a pledge form and mail it to the Habitat office.
